Evil Alice Proof of Concept

I am currently working on a pretty big Design assignment. I have to create two character illustrations. One will be done in Photoshop and the other will be done in Illustrator. The story we have been using all semester is Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. I knew I was going to go with the Mad Hatter, but I had a hard time deciding which character I wanted to do for the other illustration. It came to me today while I was fighting against a strong desire to take a nap. And thus, Evil Alice has been placed before your very eyes.

Obviously, she still needs a lot of work. I don't know how many times I had to redraw that arm, and she still needs the other one. Beyond that, I understand that the concept is not completely original, but completely original is hard to achieve when you're dealing with a piece of material that has been around for nearly 150 years. All I know was that when I was working on this in class, I had an unnatural urge to make her dress red, so now I have... Along with a few other obvious changes...

Hopefully I'll have a more complete version in another day or two, but that's all for now. Back to work!
